We’ve made sure this meal meets all the guidelines of the Ideal Protein diet for phase 1. Our chef’s start with 2 cups of raw vegetables. We’ve included 1.75 cups come from the select category, cucumber, cauliflower, and bell pepper. And we’ve included just .25 cup of occasional vegetables, eggplant, to give the hummus a taste and texture similar to real hummus. However, our hummus has just 1/8 the carbs of traditional hummus. So, you’ll get to enjoy a full half cup compared to an only 2 tablespoons of traditional hummus.

We’ve partnered with Ideal Protein clinics through out St. Tammany Parish and Baton Rouge to master the art of preparing full flavored satisfying meals. And we’ve accomplished this while following the exact specifications of the Ideal Protein diet. For example, a traditional Chicken Shawarma contains traditional hummus made with chick pea pasta. Although chick pea pasta is a healthy carbohydrate it is high in carbs if consuming more than a typical 2 tablespoon serving.
