“Skinny” Chicken Fajita Bowl is a Phase 1 approved IP Chicken recipe.

Ideal4umeals offers many many IP Chicken recipes made to the exact specifications of the Ideal Protein diet. Our “Skinny” Chicken Fajita meal contains 1.8 cup select vegetables, .2 cup occasional vegetables. Our chef’s use 2 tsp. olive oil which is your daily allowance. If you love Mexican flavors you will love this meal made with taco seasonings, tender chicken breast, fresh bell peppers, a Tex-Mex cauliflower rice served with a serving of salsa.

It has only 8 net carbs, 8 grams of fat and 224 calories for the 4 oz. size.  So, it’s a great low carb and low fat meal.  It’s sure to satisfy you, while facilitating weight loss. If you love this meal you will absolutely flip for our other IP chicken recipes including Stuffed Poblano Peppers and Buffalo Chicken Casserole meals.

What makes this a Phase 1 meal?

In a traditional fajita meal you’ll enjoy things like sour cream, cheddar cheese and Mexican rice. I know you’re probably missing these if you’ve been in Phase 1 for a while. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy this meal or many others with a few substitutions and omissions. The Phase 1 fajita meal has all the flavors of Mexico with tender chicken and select vegetables.  Sautéed onions are omitted in Phase 1 but you won’t even realize they’re missing. Instead of Mexican rice, we’ve added Mexican cauliflower rice. Once you’re ready to move to Phase 3 check out our Chicken Fajita Bowl with sour cream, cheese, and Mexican Brown rice added.

Heating Instructions

Remove cardboard sleeve. From a thawed state, peel back the corner of film. In the supplied container heat on HIGH for 2-3 minutes in a 1000-watt microwave. Drain any excess liquid and ENJOY!, Add additional time as needed. Let sit 1 minute, remove film, and eat!
