Our chef’s prepare clean eating meals including our Garlic Steak Bites. This meal is prepared with tender sirloin marinated and grilled tossed in a gluten free mushroom gravy. Our chef’s pair it with a sides of garlic butter new potatoes and roasted broccoli. It’s full of flavor and will leave you feeling satisfied!
Potatoes: To eat or not to eat?
Our Steak Bites meal contains potatoes which is a complex carbohydrate and that can be a good thing! Many people may think they should avoid potatoes, however, regular potatoes actually have less carbs than sweet potatoes. Because potatoes contain important nutrients and vitamins, there is definitely a place for them in a healthy diet. Because potatoes digest more quickly than sweet potatoes, they can cause an increase in blood sugar. So if you are pre-diabetic or diabetic you may want to avoid them but if you’re not they are a great choice. Just always eat them in moderation. For this reason, we don’t offer them often but they are a great choice to eat before or after a workout and go great with our Garlic Steak Bites.
