The diet lays out how many meals to eat each day. There are three plans to choose from.
OPTIMAL WEIGHT – 5&1 PLAN:

This plan if perfect for someone who wants to continue eating all food groups or wants a flexible meal plan to help achieve their healthy weight. Along with four OPTAVIA Fuelings everyday, two Lean & Green meals will be eaten and one healthy snack.
OPTIMAL HEALTH – 3&3 PLAN:
This plan will help sustain a healthy weight. It is easy to follow and consists of three balanced Lean & Green meals and three Optimal Health Fuelings each day. Each meal or Fueling is eaten every two to three hours. The Optimal Health – 3&3 Plan is great for someone looking for a convenient, healthy lifestyle.
This OPTAVIA Diet is great for those who need a structured eating plan. Since following the diet is easy, it is perfect for people who have busy schedules or who do not like to cook. It is great for people who need to exercise portion control. Those who feel like they need an accountability partner would benefit from the Optavia coaches who are available for support throughout the diet phases.
